Excellent service, and the food was really good. We cooked and I'm glad they had wine. I was asking for a wine and they did had what I was looking for. Definitelyrecommend the place.
Food: My favorite thing to order is the pastor bowl. It's so flavorful and delicious! Drinks: The drinks are also yummy! Service: Exceptional service. The servers are always on point and attentive! Ambiance: Family friendly and good for large groups.
Chicken enchilada with cilantro cream sauce, tasty/yummy Cucumber agave margarita on the rocks, smooth and delicious! The service was great. Got drinks at the bar before being seated in the dining room. Our server and bartender were polite and attentive.
I can NOT express how much I absolutely love going to Jimmy Changas. The food is always A1 with the vibes to match. This is the perfect place to have lunch or dinner with friends and even the kids. The restaurant has an outdoor play area for the kids to enjoy. The restaurant also offers a great drink menu for the adults to enjoy. The Margarita Sparkler is a must order! All it takes is 1 drink and you are all set. To seal the deal on how great this restaurant is... there is free vanilla and chocolate ice cream available . Again Jimmy Changas is the place to visit.
I've been to this location twice in the past two months. The place is great for kids as they have an outdoor play area and a soft serve ice cream machine for you on the way out.The playground is great if you have to wait. The food is what you expect for Tex max. I've had chicken fajitas and enchiladas. The enchiladas felt a bit small but they had great flavor. The house made tortillas are great and you can even buy a dozen to take home! The kids meal options are a pretty good size too. After queso, my kids can never finish their plates. Service can sometimes feel slow so we try to order everything quickly but otherwise no problems.
Food: 5/5 Service:5/5 Ambiance:5/5 As a chain, I was skeptical of this place. But I really enjoyed my lunch and experience here. We were set immediately for a table of two on a Sunday afternoon. Just as we sat down, I accidentally knocked my silverware napkin roll off the table onto the floor and as soon as I picked it up, a waiter already had a new one to switch out for me before I even asked. I thought that was very nice and attentive. The great service continued throughout the afternoon as well. Our waiter was very helpful and recommended choices for us. I chose a special, which is the Grilled shrimp. I do not recall the exact name however I did attach a photo. The appetizer of chips, salsa and green sauce was delicious and we ended up eating a bunch of it and may have had 2nds. :-) The atmosphere is great, typical of a Mexican restaurant. I really liked the decor inside and all of the unique paintings and drawings on the walls. They also have a free self serve ice cream machine, which seems to be a common thing here in Texas inside Mexican restaurants. I highly recommend others to try this place out. It was great and I would definitely go again.
What a lovely family friendly restaurant, we really appreciate the children's play area outside, it's a great way to keep the children happy while waiting for our table and anytime when the kid gets fussy during the meal. Location is conveniently located right across from Costco, in the heart of Pearland. Parking is easy. The restaurant itself is impressive in every way. It's modern, spacious and elegantly decorated, tables are well spaced out. It feels upscale. They also have an event/private room in the back, it's beautifully designed, could be your next private event space. They also have nice outdoor seatings. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is great, good portion size as well. If you want a healthier choice, I highly recommend the Shrimp Tostada salad, the shrimp is so well seasoned and grilled to perfection, paired well with the candid walnut and strawberries. For a classic Tex Mex meal, Jimmy's Deluxe is your choice, and it comes with two plates, part I and part II, how fun! Before you leave, don't forget about their free soft serve ice cream in the front. It completes this awesome dining experience.
